So, it looks like Apple are going to announce the arrival of the iPhone to the UK (and maybe all of Europe).

So, Apple geeks do have the power to revolt against the gods of Cupertino!

That’s right. Just two months after the release of the iPhone, Jobs realised that it was well overpriced and lacking in certain key areas. And cut the price.

So, if you were a Loyal Apple-head, you just got skanked for $200. Ha ha. But as the article above says, if it’s only store credit, why stop at $100?

via Macrumours.com comes a reminder of the upcoming Apple Expo in Paris. Running from the 25th – 29th of September, it has been used from time to time for Apple to announce updates to popular software & hardware products.

Given that Apple has hinted at a Q4 launch for iPhone Europe, it would seem that this will be the logical venue to announce the details of which networks get the iPhone and when.

Now, given that I only bought a Nokia E65 last week (hence the increase in photo posts),would it be unreasonable to swap over to an iPhone should it come out in Ireland for Christmas?

Lotto Rolls Over….Again

So, the Lotto wasn’t won again.

Damien seems to be under the false impression that it’s because he hasn’t done it. But of course, he’s wrong. It’s simply because the random number generator that runs the “Quick Pick” in my local Lotto agent once again randomly chose the wrong numbers for me.

As soon as I realised, I contacted Lotto HQ to voice my discontent and they agreed I was right and have promised that this Saturday I’ll win. They’ve even offered to make the Jackpot €16m, just for me.

How nice of them.
