Right, so this fell off a lorry that’s been driving near a lot of Irish Blogs recently.

It’s a big file at 3.4MB, so if you’re not on a fast connection, I wouldn’t even bother.

The reason it’s so big is because it’s not just the map or the line-up, it’s the Artist’s Info Booklet which is sent to the bands. It’s got stuff about all the various things at Picnic, so enjoy.

So, Electric Picnic are offering an Off Licence for the the thirsty picnickers?

Prices for it are to the left, but off the top of my head, my local Superquinn, O’Briens and Molloys sell the same stuff for €40. Well, the Heineken anyway, can’t swear to the Kopperberg or the Amstel.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t say I like the idea of a €20 chilled booze tax?

Also, word from the forum is that a few enterprising young lads will be renting wheelbarrows at the entrance at €10 for an hour (with a extra €40 damage deposit). Might just chip in with a few folks down my local Woodies, but a good idea all the same!

So, The Electric Picnic 2007 is almost upon us. Seems like both years and yesterday since the last one. Although with 2 and a bit weeks to go, still no sign of a confirmed running order for the Main Stages, as well as no sitemap.

Hmm, haww etc.

Personal non-music highlights confirmed so far -

A circus – seriously, a full blown circus by Fossetts.

Two Leviathan tents – spent hours in the one tent last year, gits making me pick one!

Bacardi Tent – Both musical and non. Great Cuban type music and even better Mojitos.

Comedy Tent – Never mind the Bud Lite revue, Picnic has the cream of the crop.

Lost Vagueness Casino – Casino Chips for Beer, what a combination.

The food. Oh the food. Pieminister better be back. And Joburger / Real Gourmet, I’m looking at you.

The Looniverse – No idea what it is, but with a name like that..

So, all in all, shaping up to be a cracking weekend, but that’s no surprise. Now, to convince my boss to give me Friday and Monday off….
