iPhone Announcement for Europe?

via Macrumours.com comes a reminder of the upcoming Apple Expo in Paris. Running from the 25th - 29th of September, it has been used from time to time for Apple to announce updates to popular software & hardware products.
Given that Apple has hinted at a Q4 launch for iPhone Europe, it would seem that this will be the logical venue to announce the details of which networks get the iPhone and when.
Now, given that I only bought a Nokia E65 last week (hence the increase in photo posts),would it be unreasonable to swap over to an iPhone should it come out in Ireland for Christmas?
No, I didn’t think so either
