So, The Electric Picnic 2007 is almost upon us. Seems like both years and yesterday since the last one. Although with 2 and a bit weeks to go, still no sign of a confirmed running order for the Main Stages, as well as no sitemap.
Hmm, haww etc.
Personal non-music highlights confirmed so far -
A circus – seriously, a full blown circus by Fossetts.
Two Leviathan tents – spent hours in the one tent last year, gits making me pick one!
Bacardi Tent – Both musical and non. Great Cuban type music and even better Mojitos.
Comedy Tent – Never mind the Bud Lite revue, Picnic has the cream of the crop.
Lost Vagueness Casino – Casino Chips for Beer, what a combination.
The food. Oh the food. Pieminister better be back. And Joburger / Real Gourmet, I’m looking at you.
The Looniverse – No idea what it is, but with a name like that..
So, all in all, shaping up to be a cracking weekend, but that’s no surprise. Now, to convince my boss to give me Friday and Monday off….
