iPhone - The first of many returns?
July 17th, 2007 | by Colm |So, El Reg has returned it’s iPhone. Not returns in a kind of “thanks for the demo model” kind of way. The Reg bought their model, Cupertino didn’t seem to want to give them one.
The reviewer, Cade Metz, doesn’t really hate one thing about the iPhone. Ok, he hated the keyboard, but otherwise he liked the phone. From what I can garner, he just thought it lacked too much. No truly high-speed data etc.
When Jobs first announced the iPhone, I was excited, I really was, but as time goes by, I’m getting less and less interested. In fact, the only thing that I can see between the iPhone and the Nokia N95 is a touchscreen. Which I admit, I’d really like to have.
I think the only thing stopping me from getting a new phone at this point is the lack of an announcement about who will carry it in Europe and an exact release date.
Time will tell…
